Momentum Advisors was asked to provide stability and a turnaround for a high end custom wood products manufacturer. The founder of the company had been removed and management systems were in disarray.
Momentum managed the daily operations and essentially restarted the company. Our team served as General Manager to family office-owned manufacturer of custom wood products. We led a team of ten to restart operations after change in ownership and major turnover in legacy personnel.
We helped the owners to restart or create new systems for managing the business. This involved daily tracking of products ordered, manufactured and sold, new inventory management systems/process, handling of facilities maintenance and creation of communications channels to the non-local family office.
Momentum created business plan models and cash forecasts and served as central point of communications between sales team, manufacturing staff and family office. We took part in re-opening vendor relationships and oversaw reconstruction of financial records. Working together, we coordinated with external parties and a regulatory body to ensure continued compliance of company products.
Once everything was under control and systems were reestablished, the company was relocated out of state, and is still in operation today.
